User´s guide:
It is specially indicated for its use in photovoltaic installations, public concurrence places (airports, museums, malls, schools, hospitals, cinemas,...) and, in general, whenever an important fire risk exists or where it´s required a low level of smoke and corrosive gazes emmisions in case of fire or burning.
Its special fire performance protects public health, fireman works and avoid any possible damage to electronic equipments.
TYPE 2 cable is for use where special fire performance is necessary, or where local conditions or regulations require increased leves of public safety. It is especially suitable where cables are installed in bunches.
Installation in surface-mounted or embedded conduits, or similar closed systems (tube, conduit, cable ducting or similar closed systems). It is suitable for fixed installations with complex paths where its flexibility allows an easier installation. Its tinned copper conductor protects against corrosion in connections.
It is recommended for fixed and protected installation in lighting and control gear for voltages up to and including 1.000 V A.C or up to 750 D.C to earth.
